Project Description 

Resonance is seeking candidates to serve as the Administrative Assistant for the USAID/Indonesia Ber-IKAN Activity, a five-year project operating until July 2027. The Collaborative Fisheries Management or “Ber-IKAN” Activity seeks to advance Indonesia's self-reliance to protect marine biodiversity by improving sustainable and equitable management of fisheries. It contributes to the 2020-2024 USAID Indonesia Country Development Cooperation Strategy, and focuses on the following four main objectives:  

1.       Improved adoption of and compliance with evidence-based fisheries policies for priority fisheries.  

2.       Strengthened small-scale fisheries governance.  

3.       Increased government and market-based incentives for sustainable seafood products.   

4.       Improved protection of ETP marine species affected by fishing practices.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

·       Assist Office Manager and DFO in any recruitment process of STTA and LTTA staff.

·       Make sure all the on-boarding staff (LTTA and STTA) have the required approval from both Home Office and USAID.

·       Ensure all staff are registered with BPJS health & employment (Monthly and annually).

·       Make sure timesheets from all staff are available, completed correctly, approved by supervisors and submitted on time.

·       Track staff leave.

·       Handle health insurance claim and submission to the health insurance provider.

·       Prepare employment agreements for new hires or extensions, including ensuring their registration with project’s health insurance carrier; BPJS health & pension; and finance department for payroll administration.

·       Register all definite contracts in Labor Office.

·       Monitor and collect the annual performance Review submission.

·       Update with latest Manpower Regulations.

·       Undertake other assignments consistent with the above that may be given from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

·       BA or BS degree or equivalent experience 

·       3+ years of HR/ Admin experience 

·       Experience with USAID human resources policy and regulations is preferred 

·       At least one year of logistics experience 

·       Ability to apply laws, regulations and instructions and interpret Resonance and USAID policy
