Consultant | Regional Impact Evaluation

Yayasan WWF Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. Yayasan WWF Indonesia is seeking the best candidate for the Consultant | Regional Impact Evaluation position. This position will be based in Indonesia.

Objectives

The purpose of this consultancy engagement is to: 
  • Distill learnings (successes and failures) from current participating cities and evaluate their progress against the initially set-goals  
  • Highlight areas within the PSC framework that could be improved or adapted 
The consultancy is also expected to support the development of a publication as a result of the assessment which would be shared with stakeholders internally and externally.  

Deliverables  

Consultants will be responsible to deliver the following: 
  • Work closely with WWF Plastic Smart Cities to develop a work plan and framework to conduct evaluation exercise 
  • Provide a comprehensive progress evaluation across all PSC pilot cities in Asia; 
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas to improve and common challenges across participating cities and project implementation elements 
  • Developing key insight to distill learnings to be delivered as publishable materials
Qualifications
  • Organizations with prior experiences working as consultancy and/or implementation agencies working in the development, environmental, and management of similar calls for proposals. 
  • Expertise in waste management issues and/or environmental sectors, both nationally and internationally, preferably with deep knowledge of Asia.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in facilitation, data gathering, and building framework to evaluate progress and accountability 
  • Analytical skills to synthesize information into insight 
  • Communication skills and experiences in building publication materials would be a plus
  • National and international environmental and social safeguards
  • Passion for nature conservation and sustainable development, coupled with a belief in the WWF Mission
