Yayasan Rumah Energi (YRE) was established in 2012 in the social and humanitarian fields. The organization is mandated to contribute and create positive impacts on poverty alleviation, strengthening the livelihood of grassroots’ communities, adaptation and mitigation to climate change and assisting in disaster risk reduction through innovation and shared knowledge. Our flagship program is the Indonesia Domestic Biogas Program (BIRU). BIRU has facilitated the installation of 28,864 biodigesters in 16 provinces across Indonesia. The program has impacted over 163,184 people among which 28.182 people are farmers; trained 1,275 local masons; 156 local partner including Micro Finance Institutions, SMEs and universities. YRE has also been providing social business incubation assistance to women entrepreneurs through our Pro Women, Puan (Desa) Inspiratif programs and Sustainable Cacao Farmers and Organic Fertilizer Market (SCORE) Project. Other projects that are currently being carried out include : “Seeing, Sharing, and Working for Kalimalang” Project , the Pro Women for Renewable Energy Project, Local Milk Sourcing Project and “Building the Foundation for Local Cooperatives as Agents of Change in Sustainable Micro Financing” Project
Adhering to the organization aim and mission, Yayasan Rumah Energi is now looking for an Admin & Finance Assistant which will be based in Jakarta.
I. About the Post
The Admin & Finance Assistant primary responsibilities are to provide overall assistant to Finance Division in carrying out financial administration works in compliance with Rumah Energi Standard Operations Guideline and it’s programme.
The Admin & finance Assistant will be under the direct supervision of the Financethe Finance Manager.
II. Task and Responsibilities
The Admin & Finance Assistant specific responsibilities include:
- Prepare vouchers for all cash income and disbursement after checking the accuracy of the supporting documents.
- Check the accuracy of advance liquidation report from staff and ensure the completeness of supporting documents.
- Filing all financial documents in accordance with the Standard Operating Guidelines.
- Undertake procurement activities as needed by the projects including liaise with counterparts, vendors and other stakeholders
- Make cash advances and liquidation reports of fund usage for operational cost of the office
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by Finance Manager or Operation Manager Provide secretarial support of the YRE office
- Register and administer all incoming and outgoing letters and documents of the office
- Providing, distributing dan tracking office supplies and office sundries
- Organize delivery of documents and programme equipment
- undertake procurement activities as needed by the YRE office and the Programme in cooperation with other staff in provincial office
III. Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
The Admin Finance Assistant is expected to have the following qualifications:
· Educational background of Diploma degree in the field of Economy and or Accounting
· Minimum 2 years work experience, preferably in similar industry
· Good knowledge of personnel and human resource issues
· Advanced knowledge of major software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Good in English (written and verbal)
· Strong analytical skills
· Good knowledge of accounting software applications
· Able to work independently and take initiatives, but also be a team worker
IV. Term of Employment
The appointment is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. YRE offers a one-year contract.
