About our organization
The World Agroforestry Centre (also known as the International Centre for Research in Agroforestry or ICRAF) is an independent research institution which generates science-based knowledge about the complex role trees play in agricultural landscapes and rural livelihoods. As part of the Centre’s work to bring tree-based solutions to bear on poverty and environmental problems, researchers – working in close collaboration with partners – are developing new technologies, tools and policy recommendations for increased food security and ecosystem health.
The Centre’s headquarters are located in Nairobi, Kenya, and research is conducted in 23 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We are supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and receive funding from over 50 different donors.

About the position
The position of Management Services Leader will be based at our South East Asia Regional Office (SEARO) in Bogor, Indonesia and will report directly to the Regional Coordinator, South East Asia. The roles will include:
1. Overseeing, managing, working with and guiding following units at SEA Region: Finance Services; Administration, Operation and procurement Services; Human Resources; Information Services and Project development support roles
2. Maintaining functional relations with Director of Finance and Operations at Headquarter,
3. Working in close partnership with: Country Coordinators; Functional Unit Leaders in Indonesia; SEARO HR Officer; Global Research Program (GRP) and CGIAR Research Program (CRP) focal persons in the region; Global Leaders and Unit Heads at Headquarter.

Requirements
§ Advance degree in a relevant field – research administration, management (preferably at MBA level)
§ A certified public accountant or with membership in a recognized reputable accounting body such as the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA), or the Indonesian Institute of Accountants/Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI).
§ 10 years of progressive experience in managing finance, human resources and support services functions in an international organization with country offices
§ Experience in the SUN-accounting system would be desirable
§ Effective written and verbal communication skills
§ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in multicultural teams.
§ Well organized; able to meet deadlines
§ Affinity with research and environmental development activities preferably a not-for-profit organization
§ Willing to learn new skills/knowledge related to the scope/content of the specified projects.
