Data Analysis & Management Officer (Kupang Based)
The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation (AIPD) is a five-year program providing technical assistance and capacity building support to local governments and civil society to better manage public resources, leading to improved service delivery and reduced poverty. The program is seeking qualified person to fill a vacant position.
Purpose of the position:
To support the M&E Coordinator in the effective implementation of the M&E system/plan by ensuring that program activities data are managed, registered and maintained for reporting and other purposes. Also responsible to assist the M&E Coordinator to conduct initial analysis and ensure that the program database generates quality data for AIPD reporting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing support to the M&E Coordinator for the development and implementation of an effective monitoring and evaluation framework for AIPD, duties include:
· Support in supervising baseline study
· Data base development and maintenance
· Implementation of M&E System/Plan (particulary in the analysis of AIPD progress and results)
· Other duties consistent with the above.
Qualifications/Criteria:
· Tertiary qualifications in statistics or maths
· Experience in database management
· Experience in development programs
· Good report writing skills, good interpersonal skills and commitment to working in a team
· Good understanding of Government of Indonesia systems, public finance management and service delivery
· Fluency in both verbal and written English
