JAKARTA

1. Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer is responsible for carrying out the procurement aspects of Mercy Corps’ logistic operation in Indonesia with primary focus on Jakarta. Working closely with Program, Administration, Finance and Logistics the Procurement Officer is instrumental in supporting program activities through his/her services.

Qualifications:

Must have demonstrated understanding of procurement ethics and good managerial skills with a diverse team and large flow of information and activities;

Experience in an NGO setting;

A strong understanding of donor compliance and budgets is required and Report writing;

Ability to make recommendations for improvement;

High computer skill on MS Office especially Excel

2. Travel Officer

The Travel Officer will be responsible for travel and the administrative/operational supervision of Mercy Corps Indonesia with primary focus on Jakarta program to ensure administrative compliance with donor and Mercy Corps policies and regulations. This includes broad travel arrangement and the management and oversight of the following administration functions of office management and facilities management

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience related to position responsibilities with emphasis on travel management

Effective time management skills including priority setting and responding to short notice travel requests.

Effective interpersonal communication skills including:

Networks within diplomatic, government and travel sectors.

Problem resolution.representation.

Excellent verbal and written language skills in English.

Able to work evenings and weekends.Experience in supervising staff.

Possess a relevant university degree or college diploma.
