SENIOR EVALUATION SPECIALIST & TRAINER

Social Impact (SI) is an Arlington-based international development management consulting firm. We provide a full range of innovative management consulting, technical assistance, and training services to strengthen international development programs, organizations and policies. We provide services globally in the areas of democracy and governance, health and education, agriculture, the environment, and economic growth.

Objective:

SI is seeking dynamic and experienced senior evaluation trainers to join our team for a multi-year evaluation training contract. The contract trains USAID staff to plan and manage evaluations, including modules covering a range of evaluation designs and methodologies in accordance with USAID's new evaluation policy. The team member will be expected to co-lead one and/or two-week courses in Washington, DC and in various USAID missions globally over the next two years. Trainers will be hired as short-term consultants for each of the deliveries.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 10 years experience conducting evaluations of international development projects and programs;
· Demonstrated ability to use adult learning methodologies in the classroom;
· Experience leading an USAID evaluation team;
· Familiarity with impact and performance evaluations, quantitative and qualitative methods, and USAID SOWs;
· Advanced degree in a related field;
· Strong team working and client relationship skills
· Willingness to travel
