The Jhpiego Indonesia program is aimed to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes in Indonesia. We are currently implementing several programs in Indonesia with a variety of funding sources. Overview:
The Jhpiego Indonesia program is aimed to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes in Indonesia. Jhpiego is currently implementing several programs in Indonesia with a variety of funding sources. The Grant Management Officerisresponsible for managing and coordinating a complex grants portfolio including sub-agreement and contract for highly technical special projects. Serve as experts for the planning, implementation and evaluation of grant proposals and provide guidance on sub agreement, grant agreement, teaming agreement, cost-share agreements and memoranda of understanding.
Responsibilities:
Grants Management Officer manage the negotiation, award, and review all reimbursement requests for appropriateness, and ensure that awardees are in compliance with donor and established Jhpiego administrative and financial policies, procedures, and sound business practices.
Following awards, monitor all phases of award and closing, including assessment of financial progress and performance.
Review grantees/partner monthly financial report
Ensure that grantees/partner expenses are in accordance with terms and conditions of the award
Conduct regular financial monitoring visit to grantees and provide onsite support when needed
Train and orient grantee’s finance staff on JHPIEGO reporting requirement, format, systems, procedures and relevant USAID rules and regulation necessary
Contribute in the development and updating the Jhpiego grants management manual
Qualifications/Knowledge, skills and experience:
§ Bachelor degree in finance and or accounting
§ Minimum 3 year working experience as a Grants Officer
§ Excellent English skill both oral and written
§ Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
§ Previous experience with USAID funded projects would be an advantage
