Jhpiego is a global leader in the creation of innovative approaches to developing human resources for health. The Jhpiego Indonesia program is aimed to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes in Indonesia. We are currently implementing several programs in Indonesia with a variety of funding sources. IT Manager

Overview:
The IT Manager will provide network and desktop administrative support to all the programs and staff located at each location in Indonesia in accordance to Jhpiego global policies. He/She will be responsible for upkeep of the equipment including computers, printers, photocopy machine, camera, LCD projector, data cards , landline phones etc. As the IT Manager also will establish relationships with local vendors for procurement of equipment and assume responsibility for assuring quality service from selected vendors.
Responsibilities:
· Provide complete software installation and maintenance. This includes installing and configuring the Internet base network according to standard configuration and maintaining/administering the systems for all offices across Indonesia.
· Remote support to all branches in Indonesia using the latest communication technologies such as Skype, Google + in order to extend the reach of the IT officer.
· Maintenance of the Local Area Networking systems including workstations, servers, routers, hubs and cabling.
· Capability to manage the servers and network by crating low-level, mid-level and power user accounts.
· Develop data entry and database management programs.
· Interacting with IT vendors to provide best prices and support for all hardware requirements.
· Ensuring each laptop/desktop & all other IT hardware and systems are fully operational with latest systems security / anti-virus updates across the main office and its branches throughout Indonesia.
· Ensuring regular data back-ups routines for all Jhpiego Indonesian offices.
· Maintain inventory of all IT related equipments across the Jhpiego Indonesian offices.
· To visit provincial offices to provide IT related support when required and approved by the Country Director.
· To Provide complete software/hardware installation, maintenance and data recovery/back-ups in order to help prevent any kind of software and hardware crashes.
· To provide IT related technical support, whenever required, for conducting conferences/ workshop/ trainings/ seminars etc.
· Interact with the IT contact person/ team at the Baltimore office for procurement and management of IT related tasks.
· Coordinate and direct regular updates on new technical knowledge, approaches and successes within Jhpiego Indonesia offices.
· Maintain working relationship with HQ IT staff in Baltimore
Required Qualifications:
· Min. Bachelor degree from Informatics/Computer Science
· Certificate in MCP & MCSE desired
· Experience working with Active Director, DNS, DHCP, ICS (Windows Server 2008 )
· Be qualified for troubleshooting, hardware and software problems as well as networking problems.
· 3-4 years working experience in computer literacy and maintenance, services and upgrading field in international NGOs.
· Experience in designing databases & webpages.
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and skills
· 4+ years advanced skills in troubleshooting and configuring for Windows XP/Windows 7; Outlook, MS Office, Visio, MS Project, Internet Explorer, and Adobe products
· Familiar with supporting SmartPhones, such as the Apple iPhone
· Experience training individuals in best practices of using computers, managing personal data files, and software applications
· Strong communications, technical and analytical skills
· Understanding and ability to practice a structured approach to troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving computer problems
· Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft network infrastructure and protocols
· Strong time management and project management skills
· Ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience on a regular basis
· Exercise independent judgment in determining and implementing improvements/solutions for computer hardware
· Work collaboratively with clients, other technicians and vendor representatives
· Ability to supervise staff
