Position Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of DRR Finance-Administration is primarily to provide assistance for proper control of all supporting documents for financial and administrative aspects in the implementation of project entitled Development of Community-based Response Management on Disaster (COMRADE). The overall objective of the Project is to improve alertness and preparedness of communities at selected sub-district level, especially the women and the elementary students, in facing the disasters. He/She is responsible for overall financial recording activities, supports the Field Officer and Project Manager as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Honest and trustworthy; have high integrity, be self-motivated.
• Attention to details, preciseness in the execution of tasks, solution-oriented working approach and negotiation skill are the basic skills required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to establish and maintain working relations in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity.
• The ability to work under pressure at times while maintaining high quality results.
• A university degree (minimum of Diploma 3) in Accountancy with at least one (1) years working experience in a similar or related area.
• Good knowledge of spreadsheet (MS Excel) for reporting purposes and other MS Office applications.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
The COMRADE Finance & Administration will undertake the overall administration and financial activities, including procurement for related activities and assist the project team to develop strategic communication methods in transferring information and knowledge to the communities. In order to achieve this, He/She is required to undertake the following tasks:
1. Maintaining the proper financial/ administrative filing system in-line with ADRA's standard.
2. Assisting the PM to prepare estimated budgets according to DIP for every event on monthly basis.
3. Procurement process; coordinating with the Field Officer for the needs of field activities.
4. Maintaining of the inventory records and receiving goods.
5. Provide reports to the country office timely.
6. Provide any other technical supports to all operations in field office or as assigned by the Project Manager.
