Senior Financial Management Specialist

Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) invites applications for Senior Financial Management Specialist on an upcoming international donor funded project in *Indonesia.

The expected duration of the project is for a period of five years.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Financial Management Specialist will execute day-to-day financial management activities and provide advice on the financial matters of the Project. The Specialist will oversee all cash management activities; assist in preparation of financial plans; monitor project commitments; review payment requests and funds reconciliation; assist in setting-up automated budgeting, commitment and accounting system and monitor these systems; and ensure all financial activities are carried out in compliance with the grant agreement. The Specialist will also be responsible to protect the financial management activity from fraud, waste and abuse.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

· Minimum 10 years of senior level experience in financial management, accounting and reporting, budgeting and auditing

· Previous experience working on an automated budgeting and accounting system

· Knowledge and experience in project accounting and contract management

· Strong skills in payment operations, funds control, cash and commitment management, internal controls and international accounting standards

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work with high level of government officials

· Previous working experience with international donors

· Fluent in Bahasa and English – reading, writing and speaking

· Accounting certifications like ACCA, CA, or CPA, or Masters in Finance

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint

Good understanding of tax laws and compliances.
