We are looking to recruit a Deputy Corporate Services Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Corporate Services and will be responsible for the effective delivery of Corporate and Human Resources services to the Embassy working closely with Embassy-wide colleagues, as well as the Regional Corporate Services Centre (APAC), based in Manila.

Responsibilities:
Foster best practice in all aspects of Human Resources (HR) work, providing support to all staff, both diplomatic and locally employed.
Oversee terms and conditions of service for Indonesia based staff and ensure compliance with local labour law.
Oversee Corporate Services Logistics team to ensure the efficient operation of all support services provided by the team, including liaison and oversight of all diplomatic staff issues, e.g. Arrivals/departures arrangements, clearance of personal effects, medical issues, VIP visits; this will include line management of 3 staff.
Drive improvements to the HR policies and processes for the Embassy by continuously reviewing business processes to deliver a more effective, efficient and professional operation.
Contribute to modernisation of working practices; supporting staff during major periods of change, and working cohesively with regional colleagues in the Regional Corporate Services Centre (RCSC).
Provide local expertise on recruitment, compensation, performance management and redundancy issues in consultation with Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) HR Managers, HR practitioners in other diplomatic missions and companies, local lawyers and labour organisations.
Drive implementation of the Learning and Development plan, including being a proactive member of Embassy’ L&D Committee.
Requirements:
A minimum of Diploma Degree, preferably in HR or related field of study.
At least 3 years’ experience of HR management in a multicultural organisation, ideally with proven line management skills.
Self-starter with strong communicating and influencing skills.
Able to work with colleagues and contacts at all levels, with a strong customer-focus.
Flexible, resilient under pressure and decisive with a proven track record of delivering results to a high standard within tight deadlines.
Exemplary personal integrity demonstrated by an ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with discretion at all times.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Strong English and Indonesian language skills, both written and spoken.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
