RESEARCH AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Kopernik provides consulting services to companies looking to do business in emerging markets.
Services include research on socio-economic conditions, facilitating testing of new technologies and collecting feedback from users, conducting baseline and impact assessments, among others.


Research 

    Conduct research on socio-economic conditions of target communities.
    Write up village and district profiles.
    Design and conduct surveys and analysis.
    Facilitate testing of new technologies and collection of feedback from users.

Business development

    Develop partnerships with local organisations and communities.
    Develop proposals for corporate partnerships.

K-store
The K-Store is an on-line store where people can buy selected technologies for their own use.  All proceeds go towards funding Kopernik operations.

    Manage Kopernik’s on-line technology store.

Project support

    Manage Indonesian and overseas projects to ensure timely implementation and reporting
    Assist with the design of new projects and the implementation and monitoring of ongoing projects in Indonesia.
    Other duties as needed.

Requirements

    Fluency in English and Indonesian
    Private sector experiences preferred
    Research experience required

This positions are based in Bali, Indonesia.
Salary is competitive at local Indonesian rates.
