U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) based in Jakarta is recruiting Indonesian Nationals for the following position:


USAID Project Management Specialist (Water and Sanitation), FSN-11 (Post Code: ENV-K1103)

Salary starts from Rp.21,800,431 per month depending on qualifications, experience and salary history.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The Project Management Specialist (Water PMS) serves as one of the resident Mission experts and advisors on environment issues, including municipal water and sanitation services, forest and marine ecosystems management.  As part of the Environmental Services Team, the Water PMS manages activities in the water and sanitation sector necessary to achieve Sustainable Management of Natural Resources objectives for USAID.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1).        Master’s Degree from an accredited University in environmental engineering, natural resources management, or in a related environmental or development field is required.
2).        A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in development assistance in the water and sanitation fields or one or more of the fields listed above is required.  
3).        Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing in English and Indonesian
4).        Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the concepts, principles, techniques, and practices of water and sanitation services in Indonesia. Must also demonstrate a strong command of development assistance principles and approaches as they related to the water and sanitation sector.
5).        Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Government of Indonesia’s water and sanitation sector policies and practices, key Government, donor, and other stakeholders engaged in the sector, and local institutional development and decentralization.
6).        Must be able to: a). Obtain, analyze, and evaluate a variety of data; b). Organize and present technical information in concise written and oral form; c). Plan, develop, manage and evaluate important and complex programs independently; d). Furnish information and advice in assigned areas objectively; e). Follow oral instructions, and organize, prioritize and follow through on all assignments with minimal oversight; f). Type accurately; g). Edit documents; h). Focus on details; and i). Demonstrate proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
