Senior Officer, Strategic
Information Unit
Responsible for
technical leadership and management of the Strategic Information unit of the
Country Office in collaboration with the Regional Office in Bangkok.
Direct the project’s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and lead the
Strategic Information team in providing high quality state of the art technical
assistance, program-wide, to key stakeholders in all aspects of Strategic
Information including surveillance, research, monitoring and evaluation.
Duties and Key
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assume primary responsibility for design and functioning of M&E systems. Ensure appropriate dissemination of results.
- Coordinate and assist
- the M&E officers and provide mentoring as required to ensure smooth and effective work flow, and
- other Technical Officers and Provincial Team Leader to ensure that appropriate technical assistance and training is provided to national, provincial and district AIDS Commissions, Health Offices and CSOs as needed.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including national and sub-national MOH offices, AIDS Commissions, and other partner organizations, as necessary to ensure program M&E coordination and implementation success. Ensure monitoring feedback is gathered from and provided to key stakeholders and partner organizations.Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master with more than 10 years’ experience in area of strategic information in HIV/AIDS.
- 5-7 years of supervisory and management experience.
- Familiarity with USAID M&E processes.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural context with national and international partners of varying skills and levels.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
