About the position
The Officer is responsible for the financial management of grantsfrom inception to completion and close-out. The incumbent will ensure properfinancial management, accountability, planning, and reporting in alignment withICRAF policies and procedures, the goals of the grant and the provisions of thegrant agreement. The officer will provide detailed financial analysis, helpstrengthen reporting systems and process development, training and support.
The applicant must demonstrate strong experience in sub-granteemanagement, including building the capacity of local organizations and subgrantees in areas of grant compliance, financial reporting, and accountability.Coaching, advising, and enforcement are essential functions of this position.The applicant will provide detailed financial analysis, reporting, system andprocess development, training and support to international program funding.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financial Management
· At least 5 years of accountingand grants management experience
· At least 2 year experiencemanaging staff
· Excellent command of Excel
· Strong background in financialmanagement systems
· Experience in using AgressoFinancial system is advantage
