THE POSITION
LOCATION: UBUD,BALI
Kopernik’s Solutions Lab focuses on a lean experimentation approach to finding what works, testing promising solutions by collecting and analyzing data in order to prove or disprove our experimentation hypotheses. Our solutions may be technology driven (physical or ICT) or approaches inspired by behavioral insights. We work with both ‘ready to go’ commercial technologies as well as products designed in-house by Solutions Lab’s engineers.
Kopernik requires a Finance & Administration Officer to work within the Solutions Lab team to support the delivery of our projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Indonesian national;
- University degree in a relevant discipline such as accounting, financial or business administration;
- 2-5 years’ professional work experience;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- High energy levels;
- Experience working within the reporting requirements of high-level grant-based funding contracts (eg. EuropeAID, UNICEF, The Australian Government, Grand Challenges Canada, etc)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian;
- Excellent numeracy and literacy;
- Advanced computer skills with fluency in Excel;
- A can-do and collaborative mind set – comfortable with the ambiguities and demands of a rapidly evolving work environment.

Financial & Administration Management
- Manage financial and administration activities to meet project objectives and funding obligations;
- Develop budgets to support project proposals and monitor spend against awarded funding;
- Develop and maintain standard financial and administrative procedures;
- Develop quotation requests, procurements requests, payment requests and any other procurement documentation as needed;
- Develop flight quotation requests, liaising with the team and travel agents to follow through with procurement;
- Monitor and review accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to the program manager and finance team;
- Ensure the timely preparation of any supporting documentation required to meet funding obligations;
- Providing monthly and quarterly financial reports as required.
- Collaborate and assist other teams in Kopernik as needed.
