OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME:
Measles elimination and rubella control by 2020 is the flagship program of the WHO South East Asia Region which was adopted in the sixty-sixth meeting of the Regional Committee for South East Asia Regional Committee (RC) in 2013.The Government of Indonesia is committed to achieve this 2020 goal and thus have planned for a two phased phase of catch up supplementary immunization activity in 2017 & 2018.
In the same time, The Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia and WHO have partnered with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to plan and implement the Strengthening Technical Assistance for Routine Immunization Training (START) program Phase three. Phase one and two of the program has been implemented in 2016-2017. The phase three of the project will be implemented in 20 districts in Banten, East Java and West Java provinces which have large number of un/partially immunized children through technical assistance.. The TA is aimed to increase the immunization coverage, reduce the dropout and help in controlling VPD (diphtheria).
This activity will require additional support for daily data input, compilation, analysis, admin etc. as the activity will start in June onwards, The Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia, requested WHO Indonesia to have technical assistant for supporting the data management team and admin support.

SUMMARY OF ASSIGNED DUTIES:
Under the direct supervision of Data Coordinator and EPI Manager and broad guidance of the Technical Officer – EPI, the incumbent provides supports by performing the following specific duties:
  1. To follow up on administrative and program issues within the office
  2. Makes travel arrangement for in-country field visit for the supervisor and technical persons in consultation with national authorities.
  3. Translate letters, reports and document from English to Bahasa Indonesia and vis-versa and assists in interpretation, as required.
  4. Type a wide variety of material from drafts, printed text and operate computers.
  5. Develop and maintain a well-organized computerized and a hard-copy filing system to track and manage all financial record, matters included budgets and proposals submitted and granted.
  6. Draft correspondence, facsimile messages, emails and memoranda relating to administration and financial matters.
  7. Maintain appropriate system to keep track of all requests and to follow up on pipeline/pending requests
  8. Maintain weekly data report of technical person with the support of EPI WHO and CDC
  9. Assist and supporting data coordinator as required for data analysis and support in developing weekly and monthly bulletin of START project
  10. Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Education Qualifications:
Essential: Completion of secondary school education in business administration
Desirable: University degree in business administration

Experience:
Essential: At least three (3) years’ experience in business administration area of works
Desirable: Experience in WHO or in another UN/International organization/NGO working in health related area would be an advantage.

Languages: Expert knowledge of reading, writing and speaking in English
Other Skills (e.g. IT): Work is performed in normal working environment. Proficiency in the use of modern office software packages such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) and standard office equipment. Good working knowledge of GSM (or other Oracle-based ERP systems) is desirable.
