Vacant Positions for
Human Rights Defender Project at Kemitraan
The post-reformasi Indonesia
witnessed positive and progressive steps taken by the Indonesian government to
strengthen the legal and institutional framework to advance and protect human
rights. Indonesia is seemed to be on the right path in achieving the SDGs that
put the fulfilment of human rights as its core. Since the first National Action
Plans on Human Rights (RANHAM) in 1998, Indonesia has had a lot of experience
in national and regional levels. This can be seen from various policies that
have been taken by the government such as the ratification of various
international human rights instruments, standardization of human rights norms
and standards through the formulation and harmonization of legislation and
policies, establishment of monitoring institutions, partnership with
stakeholders, law enforcement, increased understanding and awareness not only
at the level of the authority but also in the community, or public
communication services.
Kemitraan is currently looking to
fill in 3 positions with regard to the above project, the posts are:
Team Leader
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the
Team Leader supervises and leads project team and ensures effective activities
of project staff, advisor and experts based on the agreed plan and budget. The
Team Leader works in close collaboration with the other Program/Project and
Operation teams including resource mobilization and communication, knowledge
and resource center, and monitoring and evaluation team, government officials,
multilateral and bilateral donors and civil society elements in ensuring
successful Partnership’s program implementation, vision and mission..
Project Officer
The Project Officer shall ensure effective
implementation of program activities based on the agreed plan and budget with
the donor of the program. The Project Officer will be supported by Project
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and Finance and Grant Officer in the day
to day implementation of the program with direct supervision from the Team
Leader. He/she will also work in collaboration with other Program/Project and
Operation teams including resource mobilization and communication, knowledge
and resource center, and monitoring and evaluation unit, government officials,
multilateral and bilateral donors and civil society elements in ensuring
successful Partnership’s program implementation, vision and mission..
Monitoring Evaluation Learning and Knowledge Officer
Along
with the Team Leader and
Project Officer and in close collaboration and coordination with the Gender
Specialist and Communication & Media Engagement Specialist, the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
will develop the monitoring and
evaluation plan and baseline of the program. On the basis of the developed plan,
he/she will ensure that the project team will implement the project according
to the plan and capture the implementation of the process into lesson
learn. He/she is also
expected to contribute in
analyzing trends related to governance reform on relevant areas under the
portfolio of the Democratic Justice Governance and
Regionalization Directorate. He/she will consult with multiple stakeholders, formulation of program and projects,
management, monitoring and evaluation of program and project activities within
his/her portfolio.
