Purpose
HR
Officer is responsible for staff administration within a delegation or
sub-delegation. S/he provides HR services in line with the ICRC’s and
the delegation’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1.Functional Responsibilities:
• Ensures that staff-management policies are applied correctly.
• Ensures that new employees are welcomed and well integrated.
• Carries out administrative follow-up on HR-related issues (conflict management, training, etc.)..
• Depending on the HR structure in the place of assignment, may supervise local recruitment and training.
• Acts as a focal point for general HR-management issues.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with local labour laws and staff regulations.
2.Certifications / Education required

2.Certifications / Education required
• University graduate. HR specific background will be an advantage.
• Good command (written and spoken) of English.
• Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) a strong advantage.
3.Professional Experience required• Good command (written and spoken) of English.
• Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) a strong advantage.
• 2–3 years’ experience in HR or a similar field.
