Provision of IT services to develop WiFi TB 3.0 Android and iOS version with upgraded features, and data interoperability with Sistem Informasi TB (SITB)

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Tuberculosis Private Sector (TBPS) Activity supports the Government of Indonesia’s (GOI’s) goal of tuberculosis (TB) elimination by 2030. TBPS supports a vision for fully scalable, market-based and government-supported PPM programming that accelerates private-sector diagnosis, notification, and successful treatment to reduce TB incidence and mortality. To achieve this goal, TBPS will support Indonesia’s journey to self-reliance in achieving TB elimination targets by improving TB diagnosis, treatment, and case notification by private providers.

Implementation of TB Program is still one of the priority programs in Indonesia because it has several barriers when implement of program at health facilities level. One of the problems is reporting process, there is a gap between the number of TB patients found in the health facilities level, treated and the total number of patients reported.

Refer to Minister of Health (MoH) Regulation No. 67 of 2016 that every health facilities need to or mandatory to do notifications to all TB cases. The National TB Program (NTP) use WiFi TB 2.0 application to support the notification for private clinic and general practitioner. Due to algorithm adjustment to align with the networking design of TB PPM strategy and to improve system performance, TBPS provides support to National TB Program (NTP) to upgrade the WiFi TB 2.0 into WiFi TB 3.0 in year 2020. The first phase development of WiFi TB 3.0 has been completed, and TBPS will continue to upgrade the feature for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit provision, develop the mobile app for IOS-based, address the bugs found in the current application, WiFi TB 3.0 integration with Sistem Informasi TB (SITB), and support the maintenance and responsible to improve National TB Program (NTP) capacity as part of handing-over the application.

This request for proposal seeks a firm/supplier to create the roadmap for the next development WiFi TB 3.0, improving the application, and interoperability/integration of WiFi TB and Sistem Informasi TB (SITB).
