YCAB Foundation is the founding and flagship organization in YCAB Social Enterprise Group. Established in 1999, YCAB believes in the power of education to improve welfare. Our vision is to see a thriving world where youth and mothers are empowered through love, hope, and opportunity to be liberated from generational poverty in sustainable ways. YCAB is now exploring ways to implement the last link in its change model, that is, to create a sustainable system whereby students who graduate and become entrepreneurs or employed can pay it forward. They do this by giving back or investing in a mutual fund to help grow and scale YCAB’s mission-driven microfinance so that YCAB can empower even more youths to take control of their own destiny.

Responsibilities: 

 

1. Lead and manage overall partnership team toward strategy to achieve funding target, balanced portfolios between unrestricted and restricted funds from corporates & crowdfunding; 
2. Maintain and develop working relationships with existing partner organizations, explore opportunities to bring new potential partners to collaborate with YCAB; 
3. Develop links with other development organizations working in the same areas; 
4. Collaborate with existing and new partners to identify projects for support and work with them; 
5. Carry out regular and robust monitoring of projects to ensure quality delivery of outputs and activities. Ensure effective evaluation of these projects through visits and reports from partners; 
6. Report on the outcomes and impact of projects internally to assist with program development and externally to project funders. 

 

 

Requirements: 

 

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, all major; 
2. Having a minimum 5 years proven working experience in similar role and strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships; 
3. Fluent in written and verbal English; 
4. High Initiative and creativity in creating proposals, and crowdfunding campaigns; 
5. Have a good understanding of the social and business world, keep up to date with current trends; 
6. Have a good range of networks.
